Ryan Tornberg
Real Life - Director of Operations
reallife@calvarycorvallis.org
Ryan was born in Corvallis, but within a couple months, his family moved to Wellington, New Zealand for two years. After returning, they moved to Salem, where he spent the rest of his childhood. Ryan came to Oregon State in 2018, and began to get involved with Real Life. By winter term, he was fully involved with a small group, became a small group leader the next spring, and came on staff in January of 2023. Ryan's role at Calvary mostly consists of admin work for Real Life - in particular, event planning, but also involves a bit of men’s discipleship. Each week looks different so far!
Ryan loves backpacking, hiking, and most things athletic. He also enjoys cooking, though there is lots to learn. His favorite Bible verse is constantly changing, though one that currently is on his mind is 2 Corinthians 5:21: “For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”
