GIVING

Why We Give

Thank you for supporting the ministries at Calvary Chapel Corvallis. We are committed to using your gifts wisely and in a manner which is pleasing to the Lord. At Calvary Corvallis we consider giving a form of worship to the Lord, which is why we receive tithes and offerings as a part of our Sunday services.
Dear Calvary Family,

God continues to provide for our church, and we’re so thankful for the generous people that make ministry possible at Calvary Corvallis. As we head into the summer, we have financial needs that we are currently unable to fund as we put together this year's budget.

1.  Upgrade the Outdoor Sound System – $20,000

We have been offered a professional-grade sound system for our amphitheater. This system is normally $42,000, and is being covered to us for a reduced rate of $20,000. This would dramatically improve sound quality for our outdoor services and replace our current aging system that’s increasingly unreliable.

2.   Parking Lot Stops – $4,800

We would like to finish out the middle gravel parking lot with concrete stops to help with the order and safety as we prepare for full services in the amphitheater this summer.

3.   Walk-Behind Mower – $700

Our current push mower is on its last leg. A new one would help maintain the harder-to-reach spots around the amphitheater where the riding mower can’t go.

4.   Large Zero-Turn Mower – $7,500

This mower helps maintain the large grass areas on our property—including the amphitheater, sports field, and more. Our current mower is old, breaking down, and nearing the end of its life. We’re looking to purchase a new, heavy-duty zero-turn mower with the right attachments to care for these vital community spaces year-round.

5.   Sports Field Sprinkler – $5,929

Installing a retractable sprinkler system in the youth sports field will keep it green and safe for kids and youth events during the summer and fall.

If you feel led to give toward any of these needs, please write the item name in the memo line of your gift. For online donations, please select the "Special Spring Giving" fund in the dropdown menu.

Your generosity helps make ministry happen, and we’re thankful for such a generous church! If you would like to talk to someone about these needs, you can call our Administrative Pastor, Reuben Wai at 541-752-2851 ext. 106 or email him at reuben@calvarycorvallis.org.

We believe in giving because of the GRACE God has given us.

  • Tithes and offerings fund church ministries, facilities and staff. In addition some of these funds are directed to benevolence, local outreaches, church planting and worldwide missions.

  • Special ministry gifts are often given for special projects, ministries and missionaries.

  • Youth & College Scholarship Fund - Throughout the year we will have opportunities to give directly to our youth and college ministries.  These funds will go towards retreats, camps and mission trips.

  • Gifts other than cash- Sometimes God directs individual believers to give gifts other than cash to Calvary Corvallis. If you have something God has put on your heart to give you should visit with Administrative Pastor, Reuben Wai, or one of the ministry leaders. We can issue you a letter for the taxing authorities, acknowledging your donation

  • Estate giving- If God has put it on your heart to give some of your estate to the church, please contact us to learn more about the various options available to you.
