Joseph was born in southern California. During the last 2 months of his engagement to his now wife, Rylie, the Lord led him to a construction job in McMinnville, OR. The friend that helped him move also introduced him to Calvary Corvallis, which completely reminded him of home. They had a need for an assistant media director, and Joseph and Rylie had a need for community, and the Lord weaved them both together. He's been on staff since January 2021. As assistant media director, Joseph helps manage a team of volunteers to prep and tear down stage equipment for services and events, as well as help oversee the media team's transitions, communications, and scheduling. A service day for him looks like: arriving before events to delegate tasks, interacting with the worship team and speakers, managing sound levels during the service, and then managing an efficient tear down.

During the week, he interacts with the teams and schedules out the volunteers for the media and worship teams, and implements improvements and/or adjustments to the equipment. Some of Joseph's favorite things include photography, diving into music and guitar when he gets the chance, coffee, slow mornings, food, and spending time with people he loves. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:10.
