Garrett was born in Salem and raised in Dallas, OR. His dad used to listen to Rob teach on the radio while working as a painting contractor, and once he discovered Rob was located in Corvallis, his parents decided to make the switch and start attending Calvary Corvallis. His family has been attending Calvary since 2004, and Garrett became a pastor on staff back in 2017. As the high school youth pastor, Garrett typically spends time studying the word, strategizing with middle school leader, Zane, sending emails, planning the family missions trips, and discipling students. His favorite things to do are play sports, go for walks with his wife, eating food, and spending time with the youth of our church. His favorite verses are Proverbs 3:5-6,
Hebrews 12:1-2, and Matthew 28:18-20.
